They are super easy to make, super delicious and super un-healthy. Everything once in awhile we need a treat like these.
Steps:
1. Fry bacon slightly, not until crisp just a little so it is easy to wrap around the tater tots.
2. Mix maple syrup and red pepper flakes
3. cut cooked bacon strips in half, while still warm dip in sauce then wrap around tater tots and secure with a toothe pick.
4. bake until crisp/brown
**I found the tatertots had to thaw a little bit in order to secure the toothe picks completely.
These go fast so make a lot, your kids will LOVE them too, at least my picky eaters both LOVED them. Red pepper added more flavor than heat!
*** One more hint I would not use turkey bacon with these. We normally eat turkey bacon but you will not get the same result so we really splurged on these with the pork!!
